Hunting Skills & Education

The Hunting skills program involves 3 seperate courses, each of these programs can be booked individually. (please contact us directly for further details on each individual course)

Hunter Education

This is a 3-day course that will prepare the participants to become an ethical hunter with understanding of the rules and regulations. Participants will achieve their hunter education certificate at the end of the course and can apply for a WIN card.

The course consists of 10 modules, each module is done either as an in class session or outdoor hands on learning

• Equipment
• Firearms
• Bowhunting
• Field techniques
• Survival
• First aid
• Legal Responsibilities

Possesion and Aquisiton license (PAL)

This is an 8-10 hour program that is done over 2 days. Participants will learn firearm safety and handling, the course will invlolve a written test and practical test. Please note that this course does not involve actual shooting of firearms. Each person will acquire  their firearems possesion license at the end of the course.  (please contact us for further details)

Bear Awarness

This course will prepare the participants for the back country and possible bear encounters.  The program is 4 hours   involving an in class session and hands on learning.  Each participant will learn how to use bear spray and to mitigate risks when in bear country.

We require a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 participants.

Price for the whole course is $920 including meals, accommodation and all certification (not including GST). Please inquire for a cost breakdown.
